With a background as a classically educated singer Charlotte spent a lot of her young years singing in baroque music ensembles, choirs and free opera groups. Then she was silent for a long time – something that was needed to start a new track. For almost a decade now Charlotte has been engaged in a completely different type of music as a singer and one of the songwriters in the Stockholm-based band New Ambitions. But there is still a great passion for the music of the past, so when she wants to go elsewhere she writes songs that take her there.
